今天是十一月份的第一个星期二，也是美国的选举日（Election Day）。一大早就起来是为了去学校见我mentor，7月份入了美国籍也填了选民登记。过去的五年一直都是在做义工，鼓励大家去投票，鼓励华人参政。如今，我也是合法选民了，所以我也不想放弃这个投票的机会。洗完澡赶紧的找出来我的选民登记的记录，找到我的投票站，我老爹就陪我去了投票站投票。 以前做义工，我还教新等级的华人选民怎么用投票机而我自己去没真正的用过。先在也先进了，在选票上图好候选人的名单拿去扫描，一放进去就好了，也挺省事的。 今天 2010年11月2日 我第一形式了我作为一个美国公民的权利，我的投票权。还是有点小激动。 晚上家里没人做饭，昨晚就召集人一起吃晚饭。在这寒冷的天里，我们在一个朋友的推荐下去了Minca 东村的店。说实话要不是这个朋友推荐，我估计我自己是找不到这里的，Minca位于5th Street在 Ave A和Ave B之间，虽然平时也在东村（East Village）和下东城（Lower East Side）活动，可是真不来这边啊！ 言归正传，东西好不错，面条好大一碗，吃的大家挺热乎的。我们一行四个人，可怜的AD同学被抓去开会错过了和我们相间的机会！下次有机会咯~~~~ 感谢一起出来吃晚饭的朋友！和尚吃得很开心！ 啥话也不说了 上照片吧！

两年前的Halloween 我和我老婆第一次见面！ 时间真快，一晃两年过去了~~~ 那一次还有老姚，大白，猪猪，偶们星相大师， 以及各路英雄豪杰！ 吃完巧克力火锅~~大伙们在东村游荡~~~ 还记得有人在我名字上有疑问到底是LXJ呢 还是LXJS呢？？ 哈哈 真是感叹啊~~~~ 两年过去了！ 从那次起，一发不可收拾~~~通过mitbbs让我认识了你们，也谢谢你们和不断涌现出来的 新朋友们融入我的生活。 和尚是幸福的，和尚是快乐的！ 爱生活~~~，~~~爱纽约~~~爱你们！ 2010年11月1日 Monk
